Lovely plant delivered in a timely manner to a friend after the passing of a loved one. I was sent a text message with ETA and upon delivery was sent another text that it had been delivered. Great customer service and friendly people. The only issue is that it was left on the porch in a shaded area. Would have liked to see if recipient was called first to see if they could be there when plant arrived. ---- Florist's Response: Hi Patrice, thank you for your comments about the orchids. To be clear, we can't contact every recipient ahead of time to see WHEN they might be home or my business would come to a standstill trying to work around everyone's schedules. We are already battling LA traffic to get to the delivery location as it is, hence we send out text alerts ahead of time about the impending delivery as well. If there is a safe or shady place to leave the orchids or flowers, then that's what we do, and we also send a text or voicemail for the recipient to let them know we delivered. There is no other realistic way to do business where deliveries are involved in a BIG city (if no shade or safe place to leave the plant, we do bring back to shop until we can reach recipient). If the porch was in direct sunlight on a hot day, we would not have left it sitting there. Chris - owner
