Join Anthony's Flowers as our Lead Floral Design & Operations Manager, where you'll play a key role in shaping the creative direction and daily operations of one of Los Angeles' most established luxury flower shops.
Beyond exceptional floral design, you'll lead our design team, oversee shop operations, collaborate directly with ownership, and help drive the continued growth of the business. This is an opportunity for an experienced floral professional looking to take the next step into a true leadership position.
Responsiblities
- Lead the design staff through daily retail orders, special events, holidays, etc
- Create original and impressive luxury designs
- Manage, mentor, and train the team with inspiring leadership
- Purchasing from multiple Los Angeles market vendors
- Oversee product inventory, design quality, and store merchandising
- Assist with hiring and scheduling as needed
- Resolve customer service issues with professionalism
- Collaborate with the owner on new products, pricing, shop operations, workflow, and efficiency
Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills (Required)
- 5 or more years of professional floral design experience (Required)
- Previous leadership or management experience (Preferred)
- Experience purchasing at the Los Angeles Flower Market
- Experience quoting proposals and preparing for events
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive leader who takes ownership and enjoys improving systems
- Available to work overtime during busy days, events or major floral holidays (including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day)
